Terms and Conditions
- The BPA (British Parachute Association) regulations state that the minimum age to participate in Sky Diving is 16, the person intending to carry out the parachute descent must be at least 16 on the day of the jump.
- Any persons between the age of 16 and 18 will have to have the BPA Membership Agreement Form (parental consent form) signed and the Tandem Medical Declaration of Fitness Form witnessed by a parent or guardian, and will have to bring these forms along on the day of the jump. Failure to produce these documents on the day will prevent your jump from taking place.
- Any persons over the age of 40 and/or with a pre-existing medical condition noted on the BPA Tandem Form, has to have the Tandem Medical Declaration of Fitness Form signed by a GP and has to bring this form along on the day of the jump. Failure to present this form on the day will prevent your jump from taking place.
- The maximum weight for a tandem student is 18 stone fully clothed (114kg) with weight being in proportion to height and anyone between 16 and 18 stone will need to contact the centre in advance to ascertain the suitability to jump. Please note, you WILL be weighed on the day and if you exceed this weight, you will be unable to jump.
- The suitability of a student for skydiving will be assessed by the CCI (Club Chief Instructor) and/or instructor, whose responsibility it is to make the final decision to allow or refuse to go ahead with the jump.
- You must arrive at the Centre at your allocated arrival time to complete the training and administration. Failure to do so may result in the loss of deposit and being unable to carry out your jump.
- Skydive Southcoast reserve the right to change the jumping order without prior notice.
- Skydive Southcoast reserve the right to ask anyone behaving unsuitably to leave the premises.
- All Administration is necessary and must be completed before jumping.
- Skydive Southcoast cannot accept any responsibility for changing or postponing operating days, however will transfer booking to an alternative date at no extra charge. Skydiving is an all day event, and is definitely a weather dependent activity. Conditions need to be suitable for skydiving to commence, and it may be necessary to stop operating when conditions deteriorate.
- In the unlikely event of a video and/or stills pictures failure, a refund will be issued for the payments thereof, however no refund or re-jump will be issued for the tandem skydive.
- Once the training has been completed, payments are not refundable or transferable and valid for 12 months from date trained. If you are unable to jump (e.g. due to unsuitable weather conditions), another date that is agreeable for both parties will be arranged, no refunds will be issued.
- Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Failure to book a date, complete training and all administration before the expiry date will lead to the loss of the voucher. No extensions will be given. Gift vouchers are non transferable and non refundable. Failure to arrive on your booked date will result in the loss of the deposit equivalent from the gift voucher, and you will need to make an additional payment on the day of your re-arranged date.
- Deposits are non-refundable and must be used for the full booking within 12 months from date of payment.
- Deposits are non-refundable in the event of a person not arriving without appropriate notice for cancellation. Cancellations or changes must be notified to Skydive Southcoast within 1 week of the jump day.
- Prices are subject to change without notice.
- No refund or repeat attempt will be issued after a refusal to jump and exit the aircraft.
- The rules and regulations of the centre and airfield must be adhered to at all times.
- An administration fee will be charged for changing the date of your booking within 14days of your jump date.
- Due to higher operational cost there will be a surcharge for people over 15 stone. 15-16 stone £10 per person, 16-17stone £20 per person and 17-18stone £30 per person.
