FAQ’s

How do we find you?

Don’t trust your satnav in the last few miles please click here and use this page to help you find us.

What should I wear?

You should wear comfortable clothing and trainers and dress according to the weather conditions of the day, remember it will be somewhat colder at jump altitude so gloves are a good idea during the colder months. We will provide you with all other equipment necessary for your jump including a jumpsuit, goggles and head gear.

We highly recommend our video and photo’s option, a freefall photographer will record your skydive and preserve your memories for ever on a professionally edited DVD and it’s great to show the friends and family just to prove you did it.

What happens on the day?

After a fun and detailed briefing session, you are ready for the tandem skydive experience.

A hat, goggles and harness will be fitted to you and then your instructor will assist you in boarding the aircraft.

What follows is a 20 min scenic plane ride over the stunning Salisbury country side.

Now for the time of your life!

Get ready for freefall – a 120 mph gravity powered exhilarating descent towards mother earth. At 5000 ft the instructor will deploy the parachute for a 5 min canopy ride back to the landing area.

What about the weather?

As you can imagine, weather plays an important part in skydiving, we will only skydive when the weather conditions are safe to do so.

The local weather can be found on the airfield website – click here

Remember weather forecasts are just that – forecasts, as such are not always 100% accurate. In fact our years in the sport have taught us the forecast can be very unreliable – what we DO know is if you come then there is a chance to jump, if you don’t then there isn’t!

We reserve the right to refuse training or to postpone a jump if weather conditions or other factors are deemed not suitable for an individual student.

Not all weather conditions are suitable for all students.

Are there any weight limits?

Generally the weight limit is 16 st, however with the instructors approval students weighing up to 18st can be considered. Please note that weight needs to be in proportion to height and conditions need to be suitable on the day of the jump, which may lead to delays on the day. If you are reasonably fit we have no problem taking larger students, but please contact us before booking!

Medical Conditions

Certain medical conditions or recurring injuries may prevent you from taking part in tandem skydiving. If you are in doubt please read through the medical form and get in touch with us

Is there an age limit?

To do a tandem skydive you must be at least 16 years old.
There is no upper age limit for tandem skydiving, however suitability will be assessed at the instructor’s discretion.

If you are between 16 and 18 you will need to have your parent’s or legal guardians written consent.
